Frequently Asked Questions

Of course. Specialized translations are always done by experienced language experts of the respective industry. We can thereby guarantee that the terminology in your translation is correct and that it meets the requirements of your area of business.

Prices for translations are determined by the length (number of signs or words), the language combination (rare combinations are more expensive) as well as possible additional costs such as DTP fees (e.g. layout adjustments) or certified translations.

On average, a translator can translate about 1500 words per working day. A translation of a text of about 3000 words will approximately take 2-3 working days. However, this value depends on the level of difficulty of the translation. Should you require a translation urgently, the delivery time can be shortened considerably at a surcharge.

Normally, the format of the translation will correspond to the source file’s format (e.g. Word, Excel or Powerpoint). In case you are not able to provide us with an open format (e.g. PDF), the text will have to be converted into an open format by us. This might lead to extra costs. Special formats such as InDesign, AutoCAD etc. can be handled at a surcharge.
